About the Academy

Curtis Mateus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an adult-focused academy in New Bedford built for people of all experience levels. Whether you are completely new to BJJ or an experienced grappler, you will find a clean, welcoming place to learn, challenge yourself, and improve.

Our training focuses on practical technique, controlled resistance, and steady progress. We offer both Gi and no-Gi classes in a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to train with intention and help each other grow.
